Due to concerns regarding the changes made to the Premier League and its entry fee, as many people are unhappy with the £5 only fee for entry into the competition. In the past we collect £25 for entry fee, we keep £5 per entry for web administration, and the rest is paid back equally at the end of the event to each division, this meant the league started with at least £1,000 in the kitty. Therefore the fishery is now proposing to charge the same as last year i.e., £25 which means if there are 50 in the Premier league entries ,there will be £1,000 in money accumulator, if we have 40 + on the board, the fishery will add an extra £1,000 .It will mean the accumulator will start at £2,000 meaning that the league starts off with more money than in the past. The fishery will, as usual sponsor the league giving £1 per open entry for the duration of the league. This will, I would think, mean there would be at least £4,000 in accumulator. The money will be paid out equally between the Four Divisions i.e. £1000 per division which means should you come last you will get your money back
The only changes are, any competitor can claim 16 points if they have 4 weeks holiday during the duration of the competition and also if they are away sick. On condition Jean is notified on 07748204212.
Anyone in the league is entitled to practice one day per week free of charge on the match waters only.
The rule remains you must fish once a month at Cudmore or your name will be removed off the Board, unless you are not attending because of ill health or for a good reason.
There are already over 40 people on the board but they have only been asked to pay £5, if you do not wish to pay the extra £20 , I will refund your £5 and take your name off the board . Please pay the extra £20 to George, Frank or Jean.
