Best Baits for last week are Big Pellets with Paste and Boilies   Milo Lake After a slow start to the week the lake is now producing some fine catches of Barbel & Carp, With Loads of Roach & Bream bags being caught on Maggot & Caster on the Pole or the Feeder Best Baits for last week are Maggots & Caster also Chopped Meat   New Pools The six strips are producing huge bags for pleasure anglers with 40lb to 60lb nets being landed “PLEASE USE TWO NETS” “PLEASE EMPTY NETS AFTER 5 HOURS” Best Baits for last week are Chopped Worm, Meat & Paste.   Tara Lake The lake is better than ever with loads of big catches of Carp reported, fish mainly in the 5lb to 10lb bracket with the odd bigger specimens to 18lb. Best Baits for last week are Big Pellets and Boilies Also the method   Brewsters & Suez Canals The Canals are producing good bags of fish for the pleasure angler with upto 60lb in a six hour session.   Best Baits for Weekending are Chopped Worm, Meat & Paste. Hi Frank Came to Cudmore on the 4th April for the first time with the young lad. We fished Edwards Lake and what a day!!! We caught Carp and Tench, Lots and Lots of them. Hi Frank, Noticed the new catch report, thought id drop you a line I fish on Saturday 5th Jan was going to fish Milo but decided to fish peg 18 on Brewsters enjoyed great sport catching mirrors commons F1’s Tench and Chub fishing across on corn just off the bottom 35 fish in total for 29lb weather was 7deg. Not bad for January, Delighted to read you are restocking the waters roll on the spring!   Mike Briggs   Hello all at the fishery 8th January, the best day so far, fished Tara and had 16 Mirrors to 10lb and 1 Catfish to 21lb 08oz, I was very supprised by the Catfish, I didn’t expect to catch one during the winter were back later   Dave Massey of Leftwich   Hi George I fished Tara 30th December and caught 8 Carp to 12lb 1 Barbel to 4lb and 1 Tench to 3lb all on boilies I didn’t catch as much as my mate John Rochelle, but still very good day’s fishing for this time of year. Much Appreciated Phillip Barlow from Chesterton   Hello George Pics of carp caught on Avoca Tuesday 9th October, the bigger one of the two was a mirror/leather and weighed 15lb3oz and the smaller was a 10lb mirror Kevin McDougall   Just a line or two Very good days sport for anytime of the year, but for this time of year fantastic 20 Carp to 14lb caught on Halibut Pellets from the shop, rod’s had to be pulled out in the night because it was a bit hectic Very Good Fishing John Rochelle from Chesterton   First Timer First time with a Pole and got a shed load of perch from Tara fishing with double Bronze Maggot very cold and icy day but lake was kept clear by the fishery staff Thanks for a good days fishing Two Mad Men father and son team Andrew Everill and Jnr   Hi George I visited the fishery in August 2007 for my very first night fishing session. I arrived at 4pm and went straight to the Avoca Lake and set up my bivvy and tackle. Once I was settled I sent in my two rods and sat down. I had boilies on each rig which I brought from your store and less than 2min. later! yes 2min! I had my first take and it was a lovely carp of around 5 pounds which fought like mad. However as I was playing my fish my other rod went and I could not believe it (2 runs at once)! So I got my friend to grab the rod while I placed the fish back into the water. I then grabbed the other rod and landed my personal record of 12.5 which brought a massive smile to my face.   That funny enough was the last take I had that day however next day it went mad and something that really surprised me... I caught 2 roach on 10m/m boilies of about 1.5 pound each!!!! as well as this the best was yet to come, I caught many between 5 pound and another personal best beating my 11.5 pound the previous day....a fabulous mirror of 14.5 pounds!! its fair to say that I caught over 70 pounds of fish in my 1 night session and thank you Cudmore for such a fantastic fishing session(my best ever).   I have attached some pictures for you which I hope will go onto your website.
